The Regional Technical Training Workshop for Environmentally Sound Collection, Separation and Management of E-Wastes, Jakarta, Indonesia, 13 - 15 July 2010

The Workshop was hosted by the Ministry of Environment of Republic of Indonesia, and organized by the Secretariat of the Basel Convention and BCRC-SEA, funded by the Ministry of the Environment, Government of Japan (MOEJ).
The objectives of the workshop are to 1) to provide a technical training–of-trainers workshop focusing on management of collection and separation of e-wastes and 2) to establish network and information exchange between countries in the region as well as international bodies and other stakeholders. this workshop is attended by representatives of 9 (nine) countries in Asia : Brunei Darussalaam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Japan. The resource persons are representatives from various institutions, which are international organizations, university, non-governmental organization, consultant, and industry with the total of 49 participants.
